This cake was done for Sallumeh and Ali. They wanted a BIG cake ~ and got it! Ivory fondant icing is decorated with black brocade scrolling on three tiers, quilted with pearlized buttercream piped dots on the other 2. The 'first-name' monogram was designed by Sallumeh, a graphic artist and was prominent throughout the decor.
The cake sits atop an elegant red silk covered pedestal, for additional height and drama, and is surrounded by beautiful roses, calla and twisty twigs
